Requirements and information about the Developer application
- You must be at least 14 years old.
- You need to have your own Minecraft account.
- You need the Teamspeak as well as Discord client and should have basic knowledge in using them.
- A working microphone or headset is required for meetings and communication in general.
- We expect you to have a certain level of mental maturity.
- You need good programming skills and at least one year of experience in the programming language Java.
- In addition, you need to adhere to the Java conventions and principles of object-oriented programming (OOP).
- You should also have at least six months of experience with the Paper API (and the Velocity API, if applicable).
- You will need basic knowledge of MongoDB, Maven and Git.
- If you have some experience with NMS, this would be advantageous; however, this is not necessary.
- Your application must be at least 100 words.
- We expect an introduction from you.
- Tell us about your strengths and weaknesses of both you personally and in relation to your programming and elaborate on them.
- Tell us about all your experiences related to programming.
- You should also list your previous server teams (if any).
- For the application, you should also include or link to some references of yours that we can see your coding style and knowledge (Git projects, Gists or other sources).
- We are currently a very small, but experienced team under construction.
- Most of the current team members have previously gained sufficient experience in their area in various other teams.
- New (Junior) Developers are always welcomed in a friendly manner and are briefed in detail by a Senior or Head Developer about tasks, procedures and additional rights.
- There is no pressure to perform. School or work and real life in general naturally take precedence.
- The server itself is quite powerful, so everything, including a self-programmed game mode, always runs smoothly.
